After his hair dried, I couldn't help but notice how red it looked. I thought for sure, he was going to be our first ginger headed child, but then over the ensuing week and a half, it's gotten darker, although you can still see red highlights in it...
He didn't enjoy his first sponge bath very much....
But then he settled down once he got warm under the heat lamp...
We were really blessed with a great surgery with no complications tp either Amber or the baby. Amber was able to see him within 15 minutes after the surgery, as opposed to our experience with Sienna, who had trouble breathing when she came out and it took nearly four hours before Amber could hold her...
